Saturday 12:19

it's good to be home. cos there really is something about being home and around people you know who love you-- :) living across school has been great. i've been doing it for quite some time so more or else, i have pretty much gotten used to it. the freedom i have as compared to my younger sister who still lives at home... you can really tell there's a huge difference. and i do feel sorry for her. but now i also understand why my parents 'hold on' to us kids. it's because subconsciously they know in a few years or so... probably even next year, my sister and i will be moving out of the country and build lives of own. in a way, it's exciting. in a way it's also sad. but such is life. what can i say. and so now i'm home, enjoying the privilege of 'free' deliciously cooked meals by my yaya, 'free' electricity, 'free' water, 'free' transportation, 'free' money, 'free' internet service... 'free' everything...-- it's amazing sometimes how we can overlook these privileges we have each day. i don't know. just a thought. i guess tonight i feel quite lucky... and quite the grateful kid too.

*the picture posted above's my sister kristine. i made it from a site called www.faceyourmanga.com it's pretty cool. a stress reliever. ;)

For the past month

i never knew it was THIS draining.
going crazy each week.
having to think about what to do next.

now i know...
there is no such thing as a day of rest.

i can't wait until graduation day...
i really really can't wait.

happy days and bad ones.
the list goes on.
to think that it's just been a month of school.
feels like the longest time.

Farmer in the making

I never knew lettuce could get me so excited!

Another thesis field trip-- Grabe na toh. No school days meaning 'free days' transformed into 'thesis-is-ing, researching days'. I really have to get used to waking up at 6 in the morning-- *sigh* But enough complaining.. It was a good day even if the farm was all the way in Silang, Cavite. It was certainly worth the trip. Haaay. Ang ganda talaga ng Farm. Elaine and I were amazed and super happy cos we were finally IN a hydroponic Farm!See?? We were so happy we even went lettuce shopping! P160.00 for 2 bags of 2 kg assorted lettuce!

This is a Hydroponic farmer man getting our lettuce... :)

Menu for tonight: Salad!

Rainy Weekend

After getting these toys yesterday, I grabbed my digital camera and a couple of my toys' other buddies and went into a toy photo-shooting frenzy. It was fun and stupid in a way. Fun because it was something I've never done so and it was prettyyy interesting. Aaaand in a way stupid because some people sorta caught me taking pictures of my toys. They probably thought I was sick or something. But whatever. I had fun and at least it got my mind off my thesis.

This is another shot I took on the street-- Just plain old fun stupid, random day stuff that I do when I get bored on a rainy day. Hahaha! :) Grabe I couldn't find any car for my 'policeman' so I grabbed my Dad's Shell Ferrari F50 collection. Good he wasn't home. He he.

And here's another one I took of the twin sisters. I love this collection because they're so weird! For more of these pictures check out my multiply site... :) http://playgroundarchitect.multiply.com

Speedbump Before Schoolie...?

Because I really didn't feel like going to class today, I decided to make June 11, 2008 my private holiday! Good thing my loyal friends stayed home too after persuading them to skip :)
(There's a price to pay though my fellow loyal friends...and truly, I am sorry. Asuncion showed up. He's our AS professor. Good luck to us Jaymie and... Oh Diyosa, you know you don't need the luck! F.Y.I, he took attendance. Like that's new.)

I don't know? Maybe I am regretting a bit. I should have gone to class. Sir Asuncion for AS?!? I really don't understand anyyyy of his charts! Plus his tests make me literally shiver. God help me. He's starting to discuss the new lesson this minute. It's about concrete and blah, blah, blah. I don't know and I don't wanna know. Just when I thought Thesis was something to worry about, then we get this.

Whatever. At least I got to bum today.. watched Pushing Daisies.. well, half of it until it rained and messed up my Globe internet connection... :( Despite this, I still love you Globe! Thank you for bringing the Iphone later this year... whenever that 'later' time is. Thank you! And I also got to YM with my fellah 'skippers' mah budey boy and Emil! It's really nice to know you're not alone at home missin' valuable information about crazy concrete. *sigh* Concrete... Hmmm.................. yeaaa...

Well then, I guess that's it for now. I just felt like writing. Letting the fear of this coming school year out. It's gonna be crazy for sure... I don't know. Whatever. All I know is that, I'm ready...even if it's not today. At least I know I'll be ready tomorrow.

Material Possessions

After seeing my friend Glenn with these really cool Skullcandy headphones, I decided to ask my good old father for one! :) We were supposed to get it today at Greenbelt... Buuuut he tricked me-- *tsk tsk*

(2:30 this afternoon)
Kat: Dad, when can we get it?
Dad: Later.
Kat: What time?
Dad: After I rest...
Kat: Okay, I'll just go to Michelle's house and bum for a while.
Dad: Mm.
Kat: Okay... bye Dad. See you later. I'll be back by 5:30.
Dad: Mm.

(5:29 this afternoon)
Kat: Lets go.
*when my dad starts talking to me in Tagalog prepare for the worst*
Dad: Pwede sa isang araw nalang
Kat: Huh?
Dad: I'm not buying those earphones today. What do you need them for anyways? Don't you have earphones already?
Kat: (Lies.) Yeah but my earphones suck.. and they broke.
*such a big brat* haha!

Anyways, bottom line is, I really have no clue when exactly I'm gonna get my hands on these really really nice headphones but most probably this week. Most probably. Right Dad? :) <3 style="font-size:85%;">for more information on these to-die-for headphones click on this link -> http://www.skullcandy.com/

Stoned.

"Crazy building. Because of you, i wanna go to school in your school. Even if it means not studying architecture any longer. You stupid building. Why you so pretty? *tsk tsk* Go away."

I went to "La Salle College School of Arts" in Singapore and fell in love with the campus... It's basically quite small but the place and its charm, totally disarms you. Beware. Trust me.

I mean, the only reason why I went there was because of my Dad's friend who recommended the school. I don't know. Guess he thought I was in Interior Design. I checked. No Architecture courses... so tough luck. Now I really don't know what I want. I got tempted when I saw the course for Film because I have always been a fan of people who create and develop movies. Now I just don't know. Anyways, I shouldn't look too far in the future because until now I haven't started reading on the things that I researched on for my thesis. Gross. Thesis. My friends who have graduated tell me that it's real easy. 'All you have to do is back up whatever you're doing.' So I don't know. I guess I've got to prepare for a super "backing-up" plan. Whatever nalang. Basta, starting tomorrow... and I promise na tomorrow I will begin reading. Like really sitting and understanding... reading. I really hope I don't get tamad. "Stop Procrastinating!"

Haaaaay. Summer please don't end. *Sigh*
